Evolution of the Baxter Brenton

In 2014 the idea of an all-in-one cafeteria and business space was born. Dr. Pjongluck had a dream to launch a new business center, and he gathered a team to help him make his dream a reality. A great many team members contributed to the development of the idea. Mrs Sharon Stephen, a highly experienced retail executive and personal friend of Dr. Pjongluck was instrumental in the development of Dr. Pjongluck’s idea. Unfortunately, the business had to be put on hold during the Bangkok Shutdown.

- The political situation improved in 2015, and Dr. David Mack (the deputy director and head trainer from Alchemy Network UK) contributed to the business development concepts, and helped showcase the business development training and workshops which were to become part of Baxter Brenton.Initially Phuket had been chosen as the pilot location – the location was secured and the renovations completed. Due to unexpected complications, the flagship project was moved back to Bangkok. The location on Charoenkrung Road was selected for the relaunch in 2015. At the time it was chosen it was nothing more than a neglected shop house.

With inputs from the contributors in late 2015, renovation, sourcing, and merchandizing efforts were pursued by the team in order to open in the first quarter of 2016.
- Robin A. from France: providing inputs related to artistic and musical aspects of the project.
- Kensuke S. from Japan: providing inputs on customer related services from a Japanese perspectives.
- Eleonora O., from Italy: providing inputs as to tastes and palates of international customers.
- Davisa P, from Thailand: providing inputs on contemporary needs and consumption behaviors of young and trendy studying and working Bangkokians.
The relentless determination of the founder to offer consumers the ideal blend of heritage and individuality led to the company you see today. The products available are a tribute to Thai heritage, while also appealing to international tastes. Dr. Pjongluck would like say thank you to all of the contributors who helped to make his vision a reality.
To turn it into the magnificent shop it is today, the input of several team members was required:
